Race 5: No.5 Diamond Dancer
The Simon Miller-trained galloper is high-flying this time in and looks well placed here to bring up the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the Long Leaf mare came off a good win in Class 1 company when she franked that effort by taking out a restricted race over 1300m.
The two victories came on this track and had Clint Johnston-Porter aboard on both occasions.
Meeting similar company here, the four-year-old draws gate seven and maps to be mid-field on settling with Johnston-Porter in the saddle again.
The mare is a track specialist, winning two of her three starts at Belmont and with a trouble-free run here, looks a genuine winning chance in this contest.
Race 6: No.2 Little Silver
Steve Wolfe saddles-up Little Silver here who is in top-shelf form this campaign and looks set to go on with it in this event.
Last start, the Exosphere gelding was shooting for the hat-trick when he had to settle for third prize in a BM72, here over 1400m with regular rider Natasha Faithfull on board.
The six-year-old crossed to settle outside the leader where he overraced to the turn, before taking over and in the run home, just found two others a little stronger on the day, leaving him with the minor prize in the race.
Dropping in grade here, he tackles BM66 company where he gets the gun-run from gate one and maps to be box-seating on settling.
Hard to fault his form this time in and with a clear run to the line, he looks a genuine winning chance here and well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
Race 8: No.3 On Patrol
The Team Casey-trained galloper is in great touch this preparation and looks in the mix for a win in this event.
Last start, the War Chant gelding found the podium for the third time this campaign when he beat all but one home in restricted company, here over 1300m with Chris Parnham in the saddle.
The five-year-old settled mid-field in the 15-strong event before being held up on the turn where he finished strongly, beaten less than a length on the line.
Drawn gate nine here, he maps to settle back in the field with Parnham retaining the ride.
The 1400m trip looks ideal for him now and already a winner at the track and distance, a trouble-free run here can see him fighting out the finish in this contest.
