Ascot racing takes place on Saturday, 7 November with a 10-race program set down for the Ascot racetrack.

The Team Pearce-trained galloper is in top-shelf form of late and looks well placed here for another win in this event.

Last start, the Maschino mare made it three wins from her past four starts when she took out a Class 3 Hcp over 1600m at Belmont.

From a wide gate, Holly Nottle settled her near the tail of the field to the turn, then tracking wide, she found clean air and stormed home to grab victory by a length on the line.

This looks no harder and from gate three she maps to settle near mid-field with Clint Johnston-Porter back for his fifth ride on the mare.

Three starts at the track have failed to give her a podium finish but now in winning form, she gets her chance to change that in this contest.

Race 4: No.8 Empire Of Rome

The Team Gangemi-trained galloper is high-flying after four race starts and looks weighted and gated to give this event a real fright.

Last start, the King's Legacy gelding rang-up his second win when he took out a Class 3 Hcp over 1400m at Belmont.

Clint Johnston-Porter had him settled mid-field on the fence to the turn, then waiting for a rails run (that didn’t come), he came off the leader’s heels and gained a split between runners, then took control and went on to score by 1.5 lengths, eased over the line.

At his peak now, he gets the gun-run from gate one with Johnston-Porter in the saddle again and with a trouble-free run, he looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.

Race 7: No.4 So Si God

The Team Casey-trained galloper is on top of her game at the moment and ticks enough boxes here that suggest she is a major contender for the big prize in this event.

Last start, the Playing God mare clobbered her rivals in a No Metro Wins-Last Year Hcp, here over 1200m.

After a bizarre start to the race, the field had to contend with a riderless horse who led them the whole way, and after settling three pairs back, Chris Parnham tracked her wide on the turn and eventually finished best to win by more than two lengths in the end.

Drawn the outside gate (11) here, she maps to cross and settle near mid-field with Parnham steering the ship again.

The mare has a real liking to this track, boasting two wins and three minor placings from her five starts on the circuit and with two wins at the track and distance already on the resume, she looks the testing material in this contest.
