Last start, the Headwater mare came off a Class 1 win at Tamworth when she stepped-up sharply in grade and against city-class gallopers, finished down track in a BM72 over 1300m at Randwick.
Drawn wide in gate 10 that day, she settled back in the field and in the run home, failed to improve beating just one runner to the line.
Back to country racing here, she jumps from gate seven and maps to settle mid-field with Jean Van Overmeire on board for his first ride on the mare.
Facing Class 2 company, the four-year-old is at her peak after four runs back and should give a bold sight in this contest.
Race 6: No.2 Not Written Off
The Cameron Crockett-trained galloper is in top-shelf form this preparation and in favourable conditions, looks a big chance to land the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the Written By mare came off a BM74 win when she stepped-up to BM82 company and franked that effort by going back-to-back over 1000m at Tamworth.
Ridden a treat by Rory Hutchings, she was box-seating on settling to the turn, then coming off heels, she was presented with a saloon passage which she took full advantage of and in the run home, finished too strong for them, going on to win by more than a length on the line.
Meeting similar company here, she maps to cross and settle in the first half-dozen with Ash Morgan back for his second ride on the mare.
At her peak now, the six-year-old can get the job done in this contest.
