Sale Racing Tips for June 10 – Bronte Beach ready to to deliver in Race 6

Sale racing takes place on Wednesday, June 10, with a program set down for Sale.

Here are our best bets from the meeting, which is one of five meetings in Australia on Wednesday that also features in our daily tips.

Race 2 No.8- Expanding Power


Expanding Power can go close in Race 2 of the day at Sale. The three-year-old has had the four career starts for a couple of minor placings and was caught wide no cover when in the need of a run with a 6th first up at Sale over the 1200m before stepping up to the 1400m and finishing strongly for 3rd behind Race For Rule at Pakenham. The daughter of Doubtland will appreciate the conditions with her two best performances so far coming on Soft and Heavy ground and she just needs to stay in touch early on from barrier 4. Thomas Stockdale rides and has had recent success with the Jusufovic stable. 

Race 6 No.2- Bronte Beach


It was a promising return by Bronte Beach at Pakenham a few weeks ago and the Price/Kent Jnr mare can go a couple of spots better after finishing 3rd behind Legio Ten. The four-year-old opened up her career with successive wins then did a few things wrong in three starts at her last preparation in harder races than this. She settled back at Pakenham and made up heaps of ground to loom as a challenger before just peaking on her run late. She will strip fitter for this and went within a length of breaking standard benchmark time when resuming, producing the best last start figures of any runner. The daugther of Justify draws perfectly in barrier 4 and gets the 3kg claim for Olivia East. 

Race 7 No.4- Sulek


Sulek should be hard to beat in Race 7. The three-year-old drops in grade and was a bit unlucky when a half a length 3rd in the Bendigo Guineas (1400m) two starts ago behind Gold Coast Belle before producing a respectable run at Flemington last time when 6th behind the highly promising galloper, Concord Connie. He comes back to BenchMark 66 grade and should enjoy a nice trail from a midfield spot after drawing barrier 2, while he was beaten just over two lengths on Soft ground in Listed company at Flemington at this stage of his last preparation. Expect him to be hard to beat.
