Last start, the I Am Invincible mare resumed off a 12-week break and finished just behind the placegetters in a BM72 over 1100m at Warwick Farm with Tommy Berry in the saddle.
Settling mid-field, she found some galloping room soon after straightening and ran home well, but clearly in need of the run.
Up to a more suitable 1200m here, she gets the gun-run from gate one where she maps to be box-seating on settling with Berry steering the ship again.
Already a winner when second-up, she can give this contest a real shake at big odds.
Race 3: No.7 Unusual Legacy
The Chris Waller-trained Unusual Legacy is second-up here and with the important boxes ticked, should prove hard to hold out in this event.
Last state, the Unusual Suspect gelding resumed after 15 weeks in the paddock and on fresh legs, made a solid return to the track, finishing third in a BM78, here over 1500m with Ben Osmond aboard.
Settling towards the rear, eight lengths adrift from the pace, he worked home nicely to arrive in time and claim the minor prize.
He draws the outside gate (9) here but will drift back to settle near the rear again.
Kerrin McEvoy rode him to victory four starts back at Canterbury and takes the reins for the second time in this assignment.
Unbeaten in two previous second-up appearances, he steps-up to the 1800m where he is also a winner and fitter for that first-up run, should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 6: No.3 Joliestar
Chris Waller saddles-up Joliestar here who is yet to miss a top-two finish in seven race starts and second-up in this Group 2 event, she looks the true testing material.
Last start, the Zoustar mare was fresh off a 19-week spell when she destroyed her Group 3 rivals in the Show County Quality over 1200m at Randwick.
With James McDonald aboard, she settled mid-field to the turn, then fanning wide on the turn, gathered them all in and inside the final 200m, raced away to win by three lengths on the line.
She draws gate six here and maps to settle near mid-field with cover.
Kerrin McEvoy steered the mare to her maiden win and returns to take charge in this assignment.
With a glowing resume like hers, its hard to see anything but bad luck beating the four-year-old in this contest.
Race 8: No.2 Storm Boy
The Waterhouse & Bott-trained Storm Boy has five wins from his seven race starts and second-up here, it looks like another victory is on the cards for him.
Last start, the Justify colt resumed off a lengthy 21-week absence when he simply picked-up where he left off, destroying his Group 3 rivals in the San Domenico Stakes, here over 1100m.
From barrier rise, he was in pride of place as Adam Hyeronimus took him out to lead on settling.
Despite Hyeronimus dropping the whip, the three-year-old put a gap in them and went on to an effortless win, putting three lengths on the field across the line.
He jumps from gate six here where he maps to up on the speed again with Hyeronimus steering the ship again.
Already a winner when second-up, and a winner at Group 2 level previously, whatever beats him here, wins the race.
