The Ciaron Maher-trained Vivy Air is second-up here and looks set to improve on her first-up in this event.

Last start, the Hellbent mare resumed off a 16-week spell and having her start for the Maher stable, ran a gallant third in BM72 company, here over 1200m.

James McDonald had his first ride on the mare that day where she ran an honest race and hit the line well, beaten just over a length on the line.

She maps to settle near mid-field with cover as J.Mac steers the ship again.

Already a winner when second-up, she steps up to the 1500m trip here and looks a serious contender for the main prize.

Race 4: No.3 Enotis

The Team Hawkes-trained Enotis is high flying after three starts back and looks well placed here to ring-up a third-straight podium finish.

Last start, the Stratum Star gelding came off a big second-up win when he found better on the day, finishing second in a BM78, here over 1900m.

Tyler Schiller was aboard for his fourth ride on the gelding and after travelling three-wide without cover for most of the way, did well to grab the runner-up cheque that day.

He draws wide in gate nine here but maps to settle back in the field for this assignment as Schiller sticks with him.

At his peak after three starts back, he looks right in the mix among these gallopers.

Race 7: No.5 Autumn Glow

Chris Waller saddles-up Autumn Glow here who impressed so much on debut, it will take a smart one in this event to deprive her of the major prize.

Last start, the daughter of The Autumn Sun made an outstanding debut when she jumped right into a BM72 and clobbered them, here over 1300m.

With Tyler Schiller aboard, she settled perfectly, one out, one back with the run of the race and gave her followers no cause for alarm as she took over inside the final 150m and raced away to win by 2.5 lengths on the line.

She has Kerrin McEvoy as the new pilot for this assignment where she lines-up in her first black-type race and a repeat of that debut effort spells trouble for her opposition here.

Even fitter for that debut run, she will take a ton of beating in this contest.

Race 10: No.2 Headwall

The Matthew Smith-trained Headwall is yet to miss a podium finish in eight career-starts and second-up here, looks set to continue that trend in this event.

Last start, the Dream Ahead gelding was fresh off a lengthy 37 weeks in the paddock when he destroyed his rivals in a BM72 on Randwick’s Kensington track.

He finished unplaced in two lead-up trials and was obviously saving his best for this first-up run as he put three lengths on them with Zac Wadick at the helm.

He draws gate six here and maps to settle better than mid-field with cover as Wadick steers the ship again.

Unbeaten in two second-up appearances to date, a bold showing here is on the cards and with a trouble-free run, he can give this contest a real shake.
