Race 3: No.5 Money Team
The Brad Widdup-trained galloper has come back in top-shelf form and third-up today, looks ideally placed for back-to-back success in this event.
Last start, the well-bred I Am Invincible gelding chalked-up his fifth career win (from just 12 starts) when he easily accounted for a BM78 event over 1300m at Warwick Farm.
He settled mid-field before tracking wide on the turn and soon after took the lead and went on to score by 1.5 lengths on the line.
Perfectly drawn in gate three here, he maps to be box-seating on settling with Jason Collett as the new pilot.
Already a winner when third-up, he looks the one to beat in this contest.
Race 6: No.10 Chidiac
Team Cavanough saddle-up Chidiac here who is in great touch this preparation and is well placed here to chalk-up another career win in this event.
Last start, the Better Than Ready mare put in her best effort when she finished third in The Kosciuszko over 1200m at Randwick.
Jason Collett settled her back in the field before scouting wide on the turn and from there, she ran home strongly and impressed by securing third place in the big race.
Braith Nock returns for his third ride on the mare and after his claim, the five-year-old carries 3.5kgs less than her Kosciuszko effort.
Ideally drawn in gate three today, she maps to settle mid-field or better and with a clear run to the line, she looks a major player for victory in this contest.
Race 8: No.5 Accredited
The Joe Pride-trained galloper resumes off a 15-week break and his resume suggests he will take beating in this event.
Last start, the All Too Hard gelding ended his last campaign by finishing runner-up in the Listed Winter Challenge over 1500m at Rosehill.
In his usual role as pacemaker, he led on settling and fought strongly all the way home before being nosed-out of the major prize by Robusto on the line.
He has trialled since then, finishing a close-up second in the 805m run.
The six-year-old leaves the machine from gate two today and maps to be showing them the way on settling.
Jason Collett takes over from sister Alysha for today’s assignment and already a two-time winner on fresh legs, if he is left alone in front, he can go on and lead from barrier to box in this contest.
