Race 6: No.8 Tower Of Tuscany

The Kirsten Mooney-trained galloper has found his best form of late and well placed here, looks set to go one better in this event.

Last start, the Exosphere gelding found one better again but was still impressive when finishing second in a Class 2, here over 1600m.

Rochelle Milnes backed-up and had the gelding box-seating on settling before throwing down the challenge in the run home, just out-gunned on the line, beaten a long neck in the end.

From gate five today, he maps to settle just behind the speed again with Milnes retaining the ride and at his peak here, he can bring up his first win for this campaign.

Race 7: No.5 Snoopy Now

Darryl Hewitt saddles-up Snoopy Now here and third-up today, looks well placed for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the Sir Prancealot gelding was second-up and showed enough improvement to clobber a BM74 field, here over the mile trip.

Connor Murtagh had him box-seating on settling before gaining the upper hand in the run home and crossing the line two lengths clear in the end.

Ideally drawn in gate three today, he maps to be parked right behind the speed with Murtagh in the saddle again.

Already a winner in Listed company and a winner when third-up, he looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.

Race 8: No.3 Threatening

The Gawler-based galloper is high-flying after three starts back and looks well placed here to score another podium finish in this event.

Last start, the Shamus Award gelding came off a Class 1 win at Murray Bridge when he stepped-up to BM64 company and did well to finish third in the 1400m event on the same track.

He drew wide in gate 10 (of 15) where Todd Pannell eased him back to the rear and was trapped three-deep to the turn but still managed to pass all but two of them and claim the minor prize on the line.

Much better drawn here in gate five, he maps to settle near mid-field with cover and has Teagan Voorham as the new pilot.

At his peak after three runs back, if he can keep in touch with them and be thereabouts on the turn, the five-year-old should prove hard to keep out in the run home.
