Pinjarra racing takes place on Saturday, July 5 with an 8-race program set down for Pinjarra racetrack.

Race 4: No.6 Starwalker
Race 5: No.8 Fancy Red

The Julie Clements-trained galloper is high-flying of late and looks well placed here to make it three-straight in this event.

Last start, the Sweynesse gelding made it two-straight when he took out a BM54 over 2218m, here on the Scarpside track.

With Shaun O'Donnell aboard, he tracked wide on the turn and took over soon after before holding off late to challenges to claim the gold medal in the race.

Stepping-up in grade here, he takes on BM66 company but drops 4.5kgs with O'Donnell remaining aboard for the assignment.

Ideally drawn in gate two, he maps to settle mid-field on the fence and with a clear run to the line, the four-year-old looks set to ring up three in a row.

Race 5: No.8 Fancy Red

The Adam Durrant-trained galloper is in outstanding form and ticking all boxes here, looks set for another win in this event.

Last start, the Sessions filly rang-up win number three when she beat home a Class 3 field over 1400m at Northam.

Settling worse than mid-field, she found her way clear in the run home and finished too strong for them in the end.

William Pike has been aboard for all seven career starts and has the reins again for this assignment.

Drawn the fence here, she maps to be box-seating on settling and will take a ton of beating in the run home.

Race 7: No.10 Repossession

Unbeaten this preparation, Repossession is high-flying this time in and looks poised to make his Pinjarra debut a winning one in this event.

Last start, the Sessions gelding came off a first-up win at Belmont and franked that win by clobbering his rivals, here on the Scarpside track over the 1000m sprint.

Recording the best sectionals for the event, the three-year-old went on to score by two lengths that day while carrying 59kgs after a 3kg claim.

He takes on Listed company for the second time here and drops 5kgs for the event with Brad Parnham back aboard, after riding the three-year-old to three victories previously.

From gate six, he maps to settle in the first half-dozen and with a trouble-free run here, he looks set to score the hat-trick in this contest.
