Race 2: No.5 Angel Torque
The locally-trained galloper is in top-shelf form this preparation and looks set for another home track win in this event.
Last start, the Harry Angel mare came off a big BM68 win on this track when she beat all but one home in a BM0-70 Hcp over 1207m at Gawler.
Sitting second on settling, she stalked the leader all the way home but came off second best, beaten less than half a length on the line with Emily Finnegan in the saddle.
Stepping-up in grade a little here, she faces BM74 opposition but drops 3.5kgs for the assignment.
Well drawn in gate five, she maps to settle back in the field with Finnegan on board again.
The four-year-old is a true track specialist, winning four of her six races at the track and given a clear run to the line, she should prove hard to hold out in this contest.
Race 4: No.7 Act Of Treachery
The Team Grantham-trained galloper has impressed with podium finishes at both starts to date and fitter for those runs, looks a genuine chance of claiming victory in this event.
Last start, the Sir Prancealot filly came off a debut win when she did well to beat all but one home in a strong BM64 over 1000m at Morphettville.
Sophie Potter settled her outside the leader and in the run home, fought like a caged tiger all the way but was out-gunned near the line, beaten less than a length on the day.
Drawn well in gate five, she maps to be near the speed on settling with Matt Chadwick as the new pilot.
The three-year-old shows plenty of promise and fitter here, she looks a winning chance in this contest.
Race 10: No.8 Hysterical Lady
Team Blanch saddle-up the four-year-old here who is high-flying after three runs back and looks well placed here to land another victory in this event.
Last start, the Sir Prancealot mare bounced back from an unplaced second-up effort when she beat all but one home in a BM68 over 1507m at Gawler.
From gate one, Teagan Voorham had her settled two pairs back on the fence and after being held-up on straightening, found her way clear inside the final 150m and running the best final 200m sectional, arrived in time to grab the sliver medal in the race.
Ideally drawn in gate three here, she does little early work and maps to settle near mid-field with Taylor Johnstone as the new pilot.
A previous Class 2 winner in the city, she should find this BM0-66 non-metro event a little easier and with a trouble-free run, victory can be hers in this contest.
