Race 1: No.4 Bohemian Angel

The Team Stokes-trained galloper has been knocking on the door in three starts this campaign and now looks ready to pounce in this event.

Last start, the Harry Angel mare made it a hat-trick of podium finishes when she claimed third prize in a BM 0-68 Hcp over 1200m, here on the main track.

Will Price settled her last of the 11 runners before improving to be mid-field at the 400m mark, then ran home strongly to grab the minor prize on the line.

Drawn well in gate five here, she maps to settle back in the field with Price retaining the ride for this assignment.

Placed in her only start on the Parks circuit, the mare will be at her peak here and looks a serious contender for the big prize in this contest.

Race 3: No.6 Light The Night

The Andrew Gluyas-trained galloper is high-flying after two starts back and ticks enough boxes here to suggest he can grab the cash in this event.

Last start, the Irish-sired gelding came off a first-up win in a BM72 Hcp when he beat all but home in a BM74, here over 1000m.

Jason Holder settled him last on the fence to the turn before crossing heels and after running into traffic, eventually saw daylight and ran home strongly but was unable to reel the leader in, taking home the silver medal in the race.

He gets the gun-run from gate one here and maps to do no early work as he settles at the back of the field with Holder steering the ship again.

Already a winner when third-up and a track & trip winner as well, the step-up to the 1250m looks ideal for him now and with a trouble-free run, he looks set to steal the show in this contest.

Race 8: No.4 Anahorish

Team Stokes saddle-up Anahorish here who is third-up and should be ready to fire in this event.

Last start, the Shamus Award mare was second-up and wasn’t far away when finishing fourth in a Class 2 Hcp over 1100m, here on the main circuit.

Slowly away, Harry Grace settled her last on the fence, spotting the leader eight lengths nearing the turn before saving ground and finding a gap on the inside where sh ran home well but conceded to much start in the end, still doing well to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner.

Drawn out in gate nine here, she maps to cross and settle back in the field with Grace at the helm again.

The step-up to the 1400m looks ideal for him at this stage of his preparation and fitter for those two runs back, he looks the testing material in this contest.
