Morphettville racing takes place on Tuesday, November 5, with a 9-race program set down for Morphettville racetrack.

The Team Jolly-trained Ginger Sinner is now three starts into his racing career and looks well placed here to break through for his first win today.

Last start, the Castelvecchio gelding showed further improvement when he beat all but one home in a 1200m Maiden at Balaklava.

Jason (stubby) Holder rode him a treat that day and looked in line for victory but he was claimed late by a swooper.

Jake Toeroek rode him on debut and returns to take up this challenge.

He leaves the machine from gate two where he maps to be box-seating on settling.

Start number four today should see him at his peak and with a trouble-free run here, he can get the job done.

Race 4: No.4 Trumpty Dumpty

Another from the Team Jolly camp is Trumpty Dumpty who is second-up here and with a major gear change, looks set to makes amends in this event.

Last start, things didn’t go according to plan for the American Pharoah gelding as he was quickly pulled out of the race by Jake Toeroek, failing to complete the course that day.

A post-race Vet inspection detected respiratory issues.

He has since trialled (on this track) where he appeared to be over his issues, winning that trial by more than three lengths.

He lines-up here again jumping from gate seven with Toeroek in the saddle and today, the stable have fitted a tongue tie which may address his breathing issues during the race.

Fitter today, we give him the benefit of the doubt and with no recurring dramas, he looks in the mix in this contest.

Race 5: No.6 Starts Now

Team Jolly saddle-up Starts Now here and third-up today, looks ready to get the job done.

Last start, the Pierro gelding was second-up and showed a ton of improvement when he beat all but one home in a BM56 over 1700m at Gawler.

He pratted wide before the turn but still showed plenty of determination to finish within half a length of victory that day with Jake Toeroek in the saddle.

He draws well again in gate two with Toeroek steering the ship again and maps to settle back in the field, but closer to the fence this time.

He has been a model of consistency in his six starts to date, securing a podium finish on four occasions.

A clear run to the line today can see him bring up his second career victory in this contest.
