The Clint Lundholm-trained galloper is in career-best form of late and looks set to go on with it in this event.
Last start, the Stratum Star mare made it four-straight podium finishes when she claimed third prize in a BM58 over 1300m at Narromine.
Zoe Hunt settled her three pairs back to the turn before tracking wide, then in the run home hit the line strongly to grab the minor prize in a tight finish, beaten a neck.
Ideally drawn here in gate two, she maps to settle in the first half dozen on the fence with Hunt steering the ship again.
Runner-up twice previously on this track, the six-year-old looks set to go one better in this contest.

The Sally Torrens-trained galloper is in great touch this preparation and ticks enough boxes here to suggest she can take home this year’s Cup.
Last start, the Saxon Warrior mare racked-up her fourth career win when she took out a Class 3 Hcp over 1250m at Gunnedah.
Kody Nestor had her sitting outside the leader on settling to the turn, then on straightening, took the front and went on to score a sound victory.
Nicely drawn here in gate four, she maps to settle just behind the speed with cover and has Izzy Neale as the new pilot for this assignment.
Coming off a win and dropping 5kgs here, the five-year-old certainly looks well worth an each-way ticket in this contest.
Race 8: No.11 Grey Effects
Colt Prosser saddles-up Grey Effects here who has found his best form in recent racing and looks well placed here to carry on with it in this event.
Last start, the Puissance de Lune gelding came off a good win at Newcastle when he stepped-up in grade and wasn’t disgraced when finishing third in a BM74 Hcp over 1000m at Tuncurry.
Slowly away, he improved to settle near mid-field to the turn, then making his own luck, Lee Magorrian stuck to the inside and squeezed through a needle eye opening to find clean air then ran home strongly to grab the minor prize, beaten less than a length on the line.
From gate six today, he maps to settle back in the field again with Ben Looker taking the reins for this assignment.
At his peak and in good form, the six-year-old looks a major player in this contest.
