Bendigo Racing Tips for September 6 – Former Hong Kong galloper is the top boss in Race 6
- Sneaky Russian is a value pick in Race 5 with improvement expected.

Race 5 No.6- Sneaky Russian
Sneaky Russian is worth a bit of thought at the price in Race 5. The four-year-old has had just the two career starts for an inconclusive 5th on debut at Bairnsdale earlier this year when racing greenly before trialling in promising fashion and then resuming on the Synthetic at Pakenham for a 4th behind Sweet Kanzai. He was back on a slow tempo then was held up at a vital stage before making up late grtound. The Reece Goodwin-trained galloper will strip fitter and has been a slight firmer in the early betting.
Race 6 No.1- Boss Bundle
It was a promising effort by the former Hong Kong galloper, Boss Bundle, at his first local outing and the Hayes-trained galloper should be hard to beat in Race 6. The five-year-old tackled the 1100m at Sale a fortnight ago on Soft going and was steady in the market before settling back in the big field and running on for a close 3rd behind La Zoom. The son of Street Boss was an eye catcher late in the piece with the fastest last 200m and should be suited by the rise to the 1300m. Tempo looks even enough for him, while the long straight will give him plenty of time to wind up.
Race 10 No.2- Delicate Lady
Delicate Lady is an each-way player in the final race of the day. The five-year-old will have to do it with the hefty impost of 62kg on her back but will find this much easier than recent runs in Saturday grade. She claimed a BenchMark 78 at Morninton four starts ago but has battled in harder company since. The Jerome Hunter mare drops sharply in grade and performs well on Soft to Heavy decks, while she draws ideally in barrier 4 with Craig Newett to ride. He strikes at 28% for the stable, providing a 52% profit on investment.
