Brock Ryan had her leading on settling and from there, never looked like losing, crossing the line five lengths clear in the end.
Drawn well in gate five today, she maps to be on the speed from barrier rise with Siena Grima as the new pilot for this assignment.
At her peak after four runs this campaign, the four-year-old will take beating in this contest.
Race 8: No.12 Concrete Storm
The O’Shea & Charlton Team saddle-up Concrete Storm here who is two starts back and looks ideally placed here for back-to-back success in this event.
Last start, the French-sired gelding improved off his first-up effort when he broke through for his first win in a Maiden Hcp over 1400m at Newcastle.
Keagan Latham had him box-seating on settling to the turn, then came off the leader’s heels and finished best to claim the winner’s prize.
Facing BM64 company today, he gets the gun-run from gate one and maps to settle just behind the speed with Zac Lloyd back for his third ride on the gelding.
Even fitter for two runs back, the three-year-old looks the testing material in this contest.
