The Robert Heathcote-trained galloper is high-flying this preparation and is well placed here for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the Rich Enuff gelding came off consecutive minor placings when he proved too good in a BM78 Hcp over 1600m at Doomben.

Michael Rodd settled him three pairs back one off the fence to the turn before coming off heels and in the run home, Rodd the best out of him as he gathered in all those ahead and went on to score by half a length on the line.

From gate four here, he maps to settle in the first half-dozen with Rodd in the saddle again and at his peak here, the five-year-old should prove hard to hold out in this contest.

Race 2: No.9 Now Is The Hour

Three starts back, the Tony Gollan-trained galloper is in great touch and looks set to go one better in this event.

Last start, the well-bred I Am Invincible gelding beat all but one home again in a Class 6 Hcp over 1200m at Doomben.

Drawn the outside gate (12) that day, he managed to cross and settle mid-field one off the fence to the turn before tracking wide on the turn and in the run home, found the front looking the winner but was grabbed by Arabian Rose carrying 6kgs less, leaving him with the silver medal for the race.

Meeting BM85 company here, he draws gate six and maps to settle in the first half-dozen near the fence with Tommy Berry aboard for his second ride on the gelding.

At his peak here and already a two-time winner at the track and trip, he looks the testing material in this contest.

Race 3: No.4 Steady Ready

The Team Sears-trained galloper is second-up here and ticks enough boxes to suggest he claim another Eagle Farm victory in this event.

Last start, the Better Than Ready gelding resumed off a 12-week spell and did well to finish third in Open company over 1000m at the Gold Coast.

Well ridden by Tommy Berry that day, he settled the galloper second on the inside of the leader before securing the rails run and after taking over, was run down two better on the day, both carrying 4.5kgs less than him in that event.

Facing Listed company here, he gets the gun-run in gate one and maps to be box-seating on settling with Berry steering the ship again.

The six-year-old likes racing here, boasting four wins and three minor placings from his 11 starts at the track and already a four-time winner when second-up, the warning lights are flashing here for his rivals where he should prove hard to keep out in this contest.
