Caulfield Racing Tips for September 27 – They won’t catch Pride Of Jenni

She should be suited with the rail out 13m and a small field, while the stable says she is going as well as ever despite her veteran status at nine years of age. She will give a great sight out in front.

Lara Antipova can go on with the job in the three-year-old feature. The former Kiwi has won five of her six career starts and tasted defeat for the first time when making her Australian debut at Caulfield. She had a stack of excuses that day when awkwardly placed and held up behind a tiring runner. The stable then made a few gear changes and the daughter of Russian Revolution thrived when getting out to 1400m at Flemington in the Listed Exford Plate, settling handy before holding on to score by just under a length. The Group 1-winning filly from New Zealand gets out to 1600m for the first time, but her performance at Flemington suggests the trip should hold no fears. She should settle just forward of midfield from barrier four and is the one to beat.

Oliveanotherday can bounce back in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes after having his five-race winning streak ended as an odds-on favourite in the Bobbie Lewis at Flemington. The Tom Dabernig-trained four-year-old was impressive first-up when winning The Heath over 1100m at Caulfield and should appreciate returning around a bend, while there is plenty to like about his third-up profile, having improved more than eight lengths on benchmark figures when winning over this track and distance at the same stage of his autumn preparation. Barrier five should allow Harry Coffey to settle him within striking distance, which could prove particularly important with the rail out 13m, and he looks worth another chance.
