Belmont racing takes place on Saturday, September 12 with an 8-race program set down for the Belmont racetrack.

The Team Gangemi-trained galloper has found his mojo of late and looks set for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the Toronado gelding made it two wins from his past three starts when he took out a 1600m Handicap on this track.

Steven Parnham settled him back in the field to the turn and on straightening he was the widest runner then in the run home, he found another gear and rounded them up to claim victory on the line.

Facing Rating 66+ company here, he draws well in gate three and maps to settle back in the field with Parnham in the saddle again.

In career-best form, the four-year-old is now a track and distance winner and with a trouble-free run here, he looks in the mix to do it all again in this contest.

Race 4: No.7 Streak Of God

The Team Williams-trained galloper is in great touch of late and ticks enough boxes here to suggest he can figure in the finish of this event.

Last start, the Playing God gelding came off a Class 3 win when he finished third in a No Metro Win Hcp, here over 1600m.

William Pike had him parked right behind the two leaders to the turn, then coming off heels joined in the battle for the front and eventually gained control but was unable to hold the challenge from two swoopers who beat him to the line, leaving him with the minor prize in the race.

On a seven-day back-up here, he draws gate nine and maps to settle back in the field with Pike in charge again.

At his peak after four runs back and already a winner at the track, the four-year-old drops back to the 1400m and looks a major player for victory in this contest.

Race 7: No.9 Rissoles

Luke Fernie saddles-up Rissoles here who is second-up and is capable of taking this event out.

Last start, the Playing God mare was fresh off a 16-week spell where she finished third in a Rating 84+ Hcp, here over 1000m.

Lucy Fiore settled her last of the six runners to the turn, then sealing a rails run, ran home strongly to grab third prize, beaten just a length on the line, looking one run short in the end.

Jumping from gate six here, she maps to settle back in the field with William Pike as the new pilot for this assignment.

Stepping-up to the 1200m here where she is already a three-time winner, the mare is also a two-time winner when second-up and given a clear crack at them in the run home, the six-year-old looks the testing material in this contest.
