We have the best bets picked from across the meeting with a Best Bet and other value selections for Morphettville racetrack.
Race 1: No.4 Savoonga
The Brad Widdup trained Savoonga is high-flying after two starts back and looks ideally placed to go on with it in this event.
Last start, the North Pacific mare was second-up when she broke through for her first win after taking out a Maiden Hcp, here over 1350m.
Chad Schofield settled her back in the field before tracking wide on the turn and in the run home, finished too strong for them, scoring by more than a length on the line.
Third-up today, the mare looks ready for the step-up to the 1600m trip and gets the gun-run from gate one where she maps to do no early work and settle back in the field with Zac Lloyd aboard for the first time.
Now a track winner and even fitter with those two runs under her belt, the four-year-old will take beating in this contest.
Race 5: No.5 Stakeholder
Tracey Bartley saddles-up Stakeholder here who is third-up and down in grade today, looks set to bounce back in this event.
Last start, the well-bred Capitalist gelding came off his first-up Maiden win at Kembla Grange when he stepped-up sharply in grade and finished unplaced in a BM72 over 1200m against city class gallopers at Randwick.
Doing it tough from the outset, he settled outside the leader with no cover where the pace was genuine, then in the run home, the class rise took its toll and he weakened out of it, finishing fifth in the end.
Back to non-metro racing here, he maps to cross and settle just behind the speed from barrier eight with Rory Hutchings back for the ride after steering him to that maiden win two starts back.
Fitter for two runs back and the big drop in grade today should see the four-year-old there at the finish of this contest.
Race 6: No.2 Just Glamourous
The Joe Pride-trained galloper is in great touch this time in and looks well placed in this company to make her Wyong debut a winning one in this event.
Last start, the Justify mare found the podium for the fourth time this preparation when she beat all but one home in a BM78 Hcp over 1400m at Randwick.
With Sam Clipperton aboard for the first time, she settled in front to the turn, then found an extra gear and quickly put two lengths on them, then looking the winner, was grabbed by the race favourite (Glorious Moments) right on the line, leaving her with the silver medal for the race.
Coming back to non-metro racing today, the mare drops back to the 1200m trip here in Class 6 company with Sam Clipperton steering the ship again.
Already a three-time winner over the distance, she maps to settle on the speed again and with a trouble-free run, she can dictate terms again and should prove hard to run down in this contest.
