Race 1: No.7 Favour The Bold
The Rod Northam-trained galloper is unbeaten in two starts this preparation and looks well placed here to bring up the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the Brutal gelding came off his maiden win at Scone then on the same track, stepped-up to Class 1 competition and was just as impressive, winning that 1300m event by 1.5 lengths on the line with Reece Jones aboard on both occasions.
The four-year-old sees the Rosehill track for the first time here and from barrier eight, maps to push forward and settle just behind the speed.
Jones steers the ship again and with a clear run to the line, he looks every chance of making it three-straight in this contest.
Race 4: No.5 Shady Thinker
The Adelaide-based galloper makes his first trip to Sydney here and second-up, looks a genuine winning chance in this event.
Last start, the So You Think gelding resumed after more than six months off the scene and impressed when winning a BM70 over 1200m at Morphettville.
Carrying 59.5kgs, Jason Holder had him box-seating on settling before finishing best to claim the major prize on the line.
The four-year-old has now won three of his four career starts and already a winner when second-up, looks in the mix in this contest.
Race 9: No.11 Taxation
Joe Pride saddles-up Taxation here who is unbeaten in two starts and looks ideally placed here to remain that way in this event.
Last start, the well-bred I Am Invincible filly came off her debut maiden win and franked the effort when she stepped-up sharply in grade and beat home a BM72 field over 1100m on this track.
Tim Clark settled her back in the field before tracking wide on the turn and finishing best to claim victory in Heavy 8 conditions.
Facing BM78 opposition here, she draws well in gate five and has Tyler Schiller on board for the first time.
Winning form is good form and with a trouble-free run here, she looks the one to beat again in this contest.
