Eagle Farm racing takes place on Saturday, June 15, with the nine-race program set for Stradbroke Handicap Day.

Race 2: No. 11 Enterprise Pomme
Race 5: No. 3 Razors
Race 6: No. 1 Broadsiding
Race 9: No. 15 Fawkner Park

Race 2: No. 11 Enterprise Pomme

It has been a while since this mare has won but she is going much better than her form on paper suggests.

She’s settled right back in the run in her last two at Listed level but simply had no shot at them in the straight here at Eagle Farm two weeks ago over 1200m when finding plenty of trouble.

The daughter of Spill The Beans is rock hard fit, she drops 2kg from her last effort and finally runs into a good track which she has been screaming for.

Race 5: No. 3 Razors

I’ve got an opinion of this Godolphin gelding even though he’s had a good start to his career, I think he will develop into a better four-year-old.

He was posed three wide without any cover for a large part of the Queensland Guineas over 1600m two starts back and was forced to go forward and looked the winner until Kintyre snuck up the inside but I loved the way he fought right through the line.

It was a horror watch at Doomben last start when he was cramped for room at a vital stage and he never got out to get a clear crack at them.

James McDonald can give him a nice run in transit from barrier three and he is my best bet of the day.

Race 6: No. 1 Broadsiding

Comes into this race having won his last three in a row including the Group 1 Champagne Stakes at Randwick.

He’s settled well back in the field in all three wins and has shown a quick turn of foot none more evident than his win two weeks ago against a fairly similar field as he meets in this event.

His price is short but he looks a star in the making and with even luck he should be winning this.

Race 9: No. 15 Fawkner Park

In many ways this is the Doomben Cup 2.0 and the run of the race that day was undoubtedly Fawkner Park who made up considerable ground late and was savaging the line.

He’s a lightly raced and progressive five-year-old gelding who has won seven of his 16 career starts and he is rock hard fit at this stage of his campaign.

Drawn well in barrier three with Tyler Schiller steering and looks a great bet in the last.
