Doomben racing takes place on Saturday, October 5 with a seven-race program set for the QLD metro meeting.

Race 3: No. 6 Sebring Girl

This five-year-old daughter of Sebring has been up for a long time but is racing very consistent;y throughout this campaign.

She won a class 5 at the Sunshine Coast and had to carry 59kg last time out when finished 2.6 lengths behind the winner at Eagle Farm.

Drops to 52kg and looks great each way value at double figure odds.

Race 4: No. 6 I Am The Empire

Has finished in the top four in seven of his last nine race starts including a narrow defeat on the Gold Coast last start over 2200m where he was asked to lead all the way.

He has placed in five of eight starts at this distance, is rock hard fit and handles all surfaces.

Race 5: No. 3 Don’t Forget Jack

Couldn’t have been much more impressive when winning his first two race starts by a combined 4.3 lengths and will carry 5.5kg less than Mishani Lily in this event.

His most recent trial win was impressive and I think he’ll be ready to fire first up with the blinkers on.

Race 6: No.4 Crazy Train

This horse seemingly never has a spell but it works for the horse and trainer Matt Dunn.

It has been a while in between wins for the seven-year-old mare but she will appreciate the drop back in class considering she has been competitive in Listed races in the past.

Drawn to get a nice run in transit with Ryan Maloney steering and represents good each way value at double figures.
