Race 3: No. 2 Metalart
Won the first four starts of his career in impressive fashion including three here at Doomben.
Has failed to win in two starts this campaign but stormed home from the back last time out and will be ready to peak now at this third start.
Race 4: No. 19 Anderson
Broke through for his maiden win two back on the Gold Coast and then led all the way in a grinding win at Eagle Farm last start.
Has earned a shot at a tougher grade and looks well placed ina race that lacks a heap of depth.
Race 7: No. 3 Bubba’s Bay
A very progressive five-year-old mare who comes into this event off the back of two wins in a row.
She has carried 58kg to victory in both of those wins and will appreciate the drop in weight for this.
Drawn well and makes her own luck on the speed.
Race 8: No. 1 Kronenbourg
A lightly raced six-year-old gelding who is putting together a nice resume having won six of 16 career race starts.
Carried 61kg to victory last time out at Eagle Farm and this race doesn’t look a hell of a lot harder.
