Although travelling wide to the turn, Zac Wadick kept him going and he arrived in time to claim the major prize.
Wadick sticks with him tonight as he draws favourably in gate five and maps to settle mid-field with cover.
Already a winner at the track and distance and a winner when second-up, the lights are glowing here for another bold performance.

Last start, the well-bred Impending gelding came off a lengthy 23-week break and proved too strong for his rivals in a BM72, here over 1250m.
Zac Lloyd had him box-seating on settling and in the run home, got the better of the race leader and took over inside the final 100m, claiming victory in the end.
Well drawn in gate five tonight, he maps to settle in the first half dozen and welcomes Zac Wadick to the saddle for his first ride on the five-year-old.
A hassle-free run here should see him fighting out the finish again.
