The four-year-old lined up at Ararat on November 26 at the recent Cup meeting at the venue and botched the start, settling last. He shuffled off heels at the 200m and flashed home before just missing behind Shezasmokey in what was an impressive effort, given the circumstances. She just needs to jump cleanly this time around and can settle alot closer from the better barrier with John Allen to ride. 

Keen on Ad Astra in Race 3 of the day. The South Australian has had just the two career starts with those coming earlier this year and narrowly missed out as the runner-up in both. She ran quick time relative to this grade and form out of both of the races has been excellent with a combined total of 14 winners coming out of them. The Michael Hickmott-trained galloper comes in with a trial win under her belt and I expect her to be very hard to beat.
