Bendigo racing takes place on Thursday, July 30, with a competitive provincial meeting set down for Bendigo.

Here are our best bets from the meeting, which is one of four meetings from around Australia on Thursday that you can find in our daily tips.

Race 4 No.3- Carry Trade


Carry Trade looks ready to produce when she steps out in Race 4. The Liam Howley-trained galloper has placed in three of his four career starts and resumed at Seymour recently, sitting handy on a hot tempo before finishing runner-up behind Media Puppet. That was a brave effort by the daughter of Deep Field, with those settling in front and around her battling late in a race set up for the backmarkers. She will strip fitter for this and was a big improver at her only other second up run, while she will handle the surface. 

Race 7 No.3- Crypt


Crypt can just about go back to back when he steps out in Race 7. The Danny O’Brien-trained galloper has had his mind on the job since being gelded, resuming with an eye-catching runner-up at Sale over the 1005 before stepping to the 1243m at Geelong and charging home late to grab French Accord right at the death. Thos two had nearly four lengths on the rest of them and the runner-up has since claimed her Maiden by three lengths at Sandown. The son of Street Boss has had to do it from tough position’s in his two runs this time in after drawing very wide but gets barrier 5 this time. He should have improvement to come at his third run back and this does not look to be a sizeable step up in difficulty.
