The Adam Durrant-trained Supernatural has hit the ground running this time in and looks the one to beat in this event.
Last start, the Sessions filly came off a first-up win at Pinjarra when she beat all but one home in the Group 2 Magic Millions Plate (1000m) behind the talented Shmoov Moova.
With Clint Johnston-Porter aboard, she chased the winner all the way home without throwing the towel in.
Drawn nicely in gate five here, she maps to settle better than mid-field with cover as Johnston-Porter sticks with her for this assignment.
The three-year-old should find this Open company affair a little easier and the step-up to the 1200m trip looks right for her now.
With a trouble-free run here, she looks mighty hard to beat in this contest.
Race 7: No.7 Profit Pocket
The Tony Triscari-trained galloper is in great touch this campaign and boasting a strong record at Ascot, looks right in the mix for victory in this event.
Last start, the American-sired mare made it two wins from four starts this preparation when she easily took out a BM66, here over the 1600m.
Regular rider Steven Parnham had to weave his magic that day where the mare drew gate 13 in the 16-strong field and even after working hard early to cross and sit on the leader’s heels, still found an extra gear in the run home to cross the line 1.5 lengths ahead of them.
She draws gate seven here but in a smaller field of nine and has Parnham in the saddle again.
Now four starts back, she is a three-time winner at Ascot and will be at her peak fir this contest.
Up in grade but down in weight, she can figure here.
Race 9: No.8 Don’t Wait For Luck
Brandon Fiore saddles-up Don’t Wait For Luck here who is second-up and capable of finding the line in this event.
Last start, the Nicconi gelding had his first start for the Fiore stable and wasn’t disgraced when finishing fourth, here over 1200m after a 12-week spell.
Regular rider Lucy Fiore was aboard and from the outside gate (9), settled near last and did well to make up ground and finish just over a length from a podium finish.
She draws ideally in gate two here and maps to settle near mid-field on the fence with Fiore steering the ship again.
The stable fit (front) bar plates for the first time with the four-year-old dropping 2kgs for this contest.
Fitter for that first-up run, she looks a solid each-way chance here.
