Cranbourne Jumpout Blackbookers February 17 - A Ciaron Maher unraced filly continues her good jumpout form

Silk Sonic is a three-year-old filly who was with Wendy Kelly for her first jumpout back in August last year and was really strong through the line against Reserve Bank, Big Swinger, Durova (beat Tonkin on debut) and Stanley Express. She ran very well again here, sitting off-speed and going straight past Siesta, who had maiden form around the likes of Chewing Gum and Certain Rise last preparation. I’ll be looking to follow Silk Sonic wherever she goes on debut.

The Mick Price & Micheal Kent Jnr-trained Angland looks to have returned in brilliant order. He has now won four from seven and appears to finally be putting it all together, after throwing a few races away due to bad manners early in his career. This was his second jumpout and he sped away from the Ciaron Maher-trained Nugget under a strong hold, I expect him to be very forward wherever he goes first-up. 

Untapped was the star of this jumpout and is right on track for the final of the Future Stars series at Pakenham coming up in the next month but I doubt the market will miss it in what is sure to be a tough race. Instead I’m putting a horse in the blackbook who ran in behind and that is Enchanting Jenni. She hasn’t been let off the chain on two occasions now at the jumpouts behind King Zephyr (bolted in at Pakenham last Thursday night) and now Untapped. The market may miss her first-up from a smaller stable.
