The Australian Jockey Premiership is the title for the Jockey who rides the most winners in Australia for the current season.

Superstar jockey William Pike has won seven times in the last nine years, with Chris Parnham and Aaron Bullock the only other two winners since 2015.

Pike took out the title last season, with a 175 and a half victories from 686 rides and although he has a very similar winning strike rate to last season, an accident on an e-scooter at the back end of 2024, sees him 22 and a half winners behind clubhouse leader Blake Shinn.

Blake Shinn made his intentions clear at the start of the current season, declaring that he would aim for 200 winners in a season, a feat not achieved since the 2022-23 season, where Aaron Bullock and James Orman both cracked the double ton.

Shinn is travelling not only all around Victoria but also interstate and beyond, notching up winners at 21 different tracks this season, including trips to Swan Hill, Terang, Benalla, Kilmore and Seymour.

Shinn leads the way on 104 winners, only one clear of Chris Parnham on 103 winners. They are currently well clear of Clint Johnson-Porter who has 84 winners and William Pike on 81 and a half winners.
