Sunshine Coast racing takes place on Friday, October 25, with a seven-race program taking place.
We have the best bets picked out from across day with value selections for Sunshine Coast Racecourse.
Race 1: No. 1 Italian Riviera
Won twice during his debut campaign including an open class race at Doomben over 1350m.
The son of Shalaa has had three trials leading into this first up assignment suggesting he’ll be ready to go first up and the apprentice will use his claim for some weight relief.
Race 4: No. 5 The Fixer
Started his racing career with back to back wins by a combined seven lengths here at the Sunshine Coast this time last year but failed to win in three runs during the winter period.
He was impressive when winning a trial a couple of weeks ago and I’d love to see him land on the speed and make his own luck over the short course.
Race 6: No. 8 Cluedo
Lightly raced five-year-old mare who has been racing consistently throughout this campaign without winning.
Ran the fastest 600m of the race at this track and distance two back and was only beaten by a small margin.
There’s a win in her soon,
Race 7: No. 7 Crumpets
Failed to win a race in Victoria in five starts and was transferred to Queensland for this campaign.
Finished fourth first up at Beaudesert but there have been five subsequent winners from that race and finally broke his maiden at Ipswich last time out.
