Randwick racing takes place on Saturday, March 2, with the 10-race program set for Surround Stakes and Verry Elleegant Stakes Day.

We have the best bets picked out from across day with value selections for Randwick Racecourse including for the Surround Stakes and Verry Elleegant Stakes.

Race 2: No. 2 Moravia

This son of Snitzel has just the one to his resume from six career starts but he has not been far away in some group races last campaign.

He went within a head of beating Cylinder at Group 2 level and then 1.4 lengths off Militarise in the Group 1 Golden Rose.

Found the front at Group 3 level first up at the 300m before being run over late and will appreciate the huge drop in class for this.

Race 3: No. 2 Perennial

These Highway races are often times won by progressive type horses and Perennial fits that profile perfectly.

The three-year-old gelding is unbeaten in three career starts including a dominant win at Newcastle first up over 900m where he put the field away in a few strides.

Drawn perfectly and looks hard to beat.

Race 8: No. 5 Tiz Invincible

Won the first three starts of her last prep including two at Group 2 level and one at this track and distance.

She simply got too far back when resuming in the Light Fingers but made up considerable ground late in the race.

James McDonald can settle a little closer from barrier five and she represents great each way value.

Race 10: No. 3 Golden Mile

The 2022 Caulfield Guineas winner can certainly mix his form but there is no denying his best is very good.

He was beaten less than half a length in both the Group 1 Epsom Handicap and Golden Eagle last campaign and is much better than his first up performance.

Drawn well and the blinkers go on.
