The Matt Dale-trained Thoughtful is four starts into his racing career and has done enough to suggest he can take this out.
Last start, the So You Think gelding finished just behind the placegetters in a Class 1 over 1300m at Goulburn.
He raced a little erratically that day with Keagan Latham in the saddle, eventually costing him a podium finish.

Robyn Freeman was aboard for her fifth ride on the galloper and after box-seating on settling, took control of the race inside the final 200m and held them all at bay to win by a length on the line.
He gets the gun-run from gate one here and maps to be box-seating again with Freeman remaining aboard for this assignment.
Already a track and distance winner and dropping 2kgs here, the six-year-old looks right in the mix for another career win in this contest.
