Royal Randwick hosts The Everest Day on October 14 with the world's richest race on turf headlining the action in Sydney.

Race 5: No. 7 Opal Ridge
Opal Ridge comes into The Kozciuszko first up from a spell where she has an undefeated record from three starts.
It takes a proper top line horse to win this race if history is anything to go by and she is that.
She won the Listed Luskin Star at Scone in May before finishing second in the Group 2 Dane Ripper behind Comrade Rosa as the favourite during the winter.
She drawn well with James McDonald steering and looks the obvious choice.
Race 6: No. 13 Bella Nipotina
Has been a very consistent mare at the top level for quite some time placing in 25 of 40 starts during her career.
Was beaten less than a length in the Quokka behind Overpass and Amelia’s Jewel and has been in the money in both starts so far this prep.
She’ll appreciate the step back in class for this event and although she will need luck from the draw, and pace on up front, she represents good each way value at her current quote.
Race 9: No. 6 My Oberon
Is accepted in Melbourne as well but drawn much better here.
The Annabel Neasham trained import has been in Australia for a while now and there is a big race win in this guy.
Has acquitted himself well at group 1 level in the past including a sixth when beaten under two lengths in the Champions Mile this time last year and a narrow second behind Mr Brightside in the Doncaster during the autumn.
Has been beaten two lengths in all three runs so far this prep and will be ready to peak now.
Well in at the weights and worth a small each way play at a huge price in my opinion.
Race 10: No. 4 Renainssance Woman
Finished second behind Fireburn in the Group 2 The Rose during the Brisbane winter and is a horse with plenty of natural ability.
Has never performed well fresh but I thought her run at Randwick first up up was good where she hit the line well.
She’s won twice from three second up runs and is drawn to get a lovely run in transit with hopefully some pace on up forward.
