The Flight Stakes is a Group 1 race run over 1600m at Royal Randwick for three-year-old fillies.
The race was first run in 1947 and has been won by some champion fillies including Wenona Girl (1960), Sunline (1998) and More Joyous (2009).

1. Tiz Invincible (13)
Is unbeaten in three runs this prep including a dominant win in the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes at this track last time out.
The daughter of I Am Invincible was cramped for room in the straight but once she found clear air, she put the field away.
All things equal, she looks the one to beat.
2. Kimochi (8)
Is yet to miss a place in six career race starts but has just the one win to her racing resume.
All three runs this prep have been full of merit but she will need to find a new level to beat the favourite who seemingly has her measure.
3. Tropical Squall (6)
A dominant win first up saw Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott step this filly up to Group 2 company last time out.
She finished third behind the top two in the market but she has plenty of room for improvement.
4. Miss Joelene (7)
Wasn’t beaten far in a couple of handy form races during the Brisbane winter carnival but was well beaten in the Tea Rose last start.
Needs to take a huge leap forward to be competitive here.
5. French Endeavour (4)
Dominant win at Hawkesbury second up and finished three lengths off Tiz Invincible in the Tea Rose.
Drawn to get a lovely run in transit and with natural improvement, she can run a cheeky race at double figure odds.
6. Summer Loving (11)
Finished less than two lengths off them in both the Silver Shadow and Furious Stakes proving she can mix it with the best fillies.
She’s yet to win from eight career race starts and this is her first go out to 1600m.

7. Mollynickers (1)
Won her first two starts this prep in Victoria and was beaten only 1.5 lengths in a Listed race at The Valley last start.
The daughter of Pierro brings in a different form line to the majority of this field and is one to consider with the Moody and Kah combinations.
8. Captain Amelia (10)
Has two wins from six career race starts but hasn’t shown anything to suggests she’ll be competitive against the top grade fillies.
She will appreciate the step up in distance and the blinkers go on.
9. Private Legacy (5)
Was beaten only two lengths when resuming in the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes but has subsequently been well beaten at her next two outings.
10. Tutta La Vita (3)
The Chris Waller trained filly has finished in the top two in three of five career starts but finished over four lengths behind Tiz Invincible last time out.
The in-form Joao Moreira is a big plus, as is barrier three.
11. Unique Ambition (12)
Has absolutely no luck in the Tea Rose when she was held up at the 200m and never saw daylight.
The daughter of Tavistock looked to have plenty to offer and the step up in distance at this stage of her prep looks ideal.
12. Hasty Honey (9)
Wasn’t beaten far on debut in a Listed race back in May and was beaten in a maiden at Kembla Grange last start.
Would need to improve out of sight to be competitive in a race of this quality.
