Rosehill racing takes place on Saturday, February 24, with the 10-race program set for Sydney.

We have the best bets picked out from across day with value selections for Rosehill Gardens Racecourse.

Race 1: No. 8 Glad You Think So

Put together two nice wins in a row during his last campaign and then was beaten less than a length in the Group 3 Gloaming Stakes.

Dropped well back in grade first up at Warwick Farm over an unsuitable distance and with a big weight but savaged the line late.

Still short of his best but he has a class advantage on this field in my opinion.

Race 4: No. 2 Straight Charge

The top two in the market met back in the Group 3 Breeders Plate in September with the other Waterhouse colt edging Straight Charge by the barest of margins.

This son of Written By then came out and dominated his rivals to win by 3.5 lengths at Randwick.

I loved his recent trial win leading into this first up assignment and I’d love to see Tim Clark go to the front from the wide barrier.

Race 6: No. 13 Marquess

I’ve got a far amount of time for this lightly raced Godolphin gelding and although he ran into one better first up, he was still impressive.

He drops done in grade for this but will still be required to carry just 52.kgs with Zac Lloyd steering.

Interesting that they have decided to drop back to 1400m but he is clearly the one to beat and my best of the day.

Race 10: No. 19 Gently Rolled

A mare racing really consistently right at the minute and she has managed three wins from her last five and has been unplaced just once in her nine start career.

Was beaten less than a length first up and then won impressively by over a length at her next outing.

Carries a similar weight in a similar grade and should she get a run, she’ll be tough to beat in the last.
