Rosehill racing takes place on Saturday, April 27, with the 10-race program set for the NSW feature meeting.

Race 2: No. 11 Eye Pea Oh

Closed out his last campaign with a narrow win in a similar Midway race over 1100m despite racing keenly throughout the run making it even more impressive.

She resumed in a benchmark 72 at Canterbury over 1100m where she settled seven lengths of the leader but made up considerable ground late to be beaten less than a length even after she was held up at a crucial stage in the straight.

All four of her four career wins have been on a soft track and she’s likely to get those conditions again on Saturday.

Race 4: No. 3 Perennial

Paul Messara has an exciting and lightly raced three-year-old gelding on his hands with this son of Mikki Isle who he’s happy to continue moving up through the grades.

He’s won three times from four career starts and his only defeat was by a head last start where plenty went wrong for him throughout the race.

We haven’t seen him since early March but he’s had two trial wins leading into this and should have a fitness edge over a few of these.

Race 7: No. 15 Kazou

Chris Waller saddles up this exciting and consistent four-year-old mare who has managed four wins from eight career starts and has missed a place just once.

She beat the smart Commemorative during her last campaign before stepping up in class to finish second behind Revolutionary Miss who has since gone on the win twice at Group 3 level.

She won a trial by over eight lengths back in March and this looks a really nice stepping off point for the prep with just 52.5kg on her back.
