$1 million purchase makes eagerly-awaited debut at midweek meeting
Duty was a $1 million purchase at the Magic Millions Sales

John O'Shea lines up the expensive purchase
High-profile colt steps out at Canterbury
$1 million purchase Duty will make his eagerly-awaited debut at Canterbury on Wednesday.
The John O'Shea-trained two-year-old was purchased by Coolmore's Tom Magnier at the 2018 Magic Millions Sale and is expected to mature into a nice three-year-old.
The well-bred son of Fastnet Rock has been given five trials ahead of Wednesday's debut. He finished second in a recent trial at Randwick, which has been franked come race day.
Bookmakers are offering 11.00 for Duty to win, so there's not high expectations for his debut, but punters will likely back him into single-figure odds come race day.
Coolmore will be hoping he performs better than $2.4 million purchase Meticulous, which has failed in two starts to date.
