Warrnambool Racing Tips for July 6- Normandy Bridge can knock over the hot favourite, Loft, in Race 3

Normandy Bridge is a great chance of knocking over the hot favourite, Loft, in the Kevin Lafferty Hurdle. He had his first go over the jumps when resuming this preparation back in April and was a solid 3rd behind Highland Blaze before just peaking late at Sandown when 6rd after racing a fraction keenly. at his most recent start, he led from whoa to go, keeping enough in the tank to edge out Farag, while there was a big gap to the rest. The seven-year-old has the experience now to measure up to harder company, while we must respect the Ciraon Maher/Will McCarthy trainer/jockey combination. They are five from 14 attempts, striking at a very healthy 66%. 

Cleitus should be hard to beat in Race 6. The locally trained galloper from the Symon Wilde stables has been in solid touch this time in with a win and couple of runner-up performances from his five runs. He was a dominant winner in this grade at Hamilton over the 1600m three starts ago then was a narrow runner-up in the Apsley Cup (2000m) at Casterton. At his most recent start, the seven-year-old tackled a BenchMark 64 at Morphettville and was solid when sticking on for 4th over the 1800m. He has gone within three lengths of standard benchmark at his past three starts, which compares very well to this lot. The son of Helmet performs well on Soft-Heavy and had excuses at his only run at the track and trip.
