Sale Racing Tips for July 3- Private Jumbo has the class to take him a long way in Race 7

This looks to be a suitable race for Lario. The Danny O’Brien-trained galloper was 3rd over the 1400m when resuming at Echuca in a strong Class 3 race before heading to Caulfield for a Saturday Handicap, finishing 9th over the 1600m behind Mary Eliza. He was posted three-wide no cover the trip and did have some excuses in that race. This level should be more to his liking and his only other run over the mile resulted in a win at Caulfield last year. A Heavy track is likely for Sale and at his only start in the going he was ok in a hot form race when 5th at Caulfield. The son of Epaulette draws wide but does have some solid early speed in the kit bag and with any luck early on he can feature. 

Private Jumbo lumps the big weight in Race 7 but his class will take him a long way. The five-year-old resumed in a BenchMark 70 at Sandown and was caught up on a hot tempo before just fading late over the 1300m to place 5th behind Silver Cliff. He should take improvement from that run and was a dominant winner the last time he raced in a BenchMark 64, while he was placed in harder company than this at the track and trip at his last preparation. The son of Reward For Effort is likely to push across to lead from barrier 8 and there doesnt look to be too much pressure inside of him. He should be in it for a long way. 

Mansiere can end the day a winner. The Nick Ryan-trained galloper impressed when resuming in a BenchMark 70 over the 1100m at the Warrnambool carnival when runner-up behind Cleo Cat, who then went on to finish runner-up behind Niance in Listed grade. Mansiere then went to Warwick Farm and had excuses when placing 7th on a bog track, pulling up with respiratory issues. He comes in with the slight freshen up and flies at the track and trip with two starts for a win and a runner-up. One of those came on the Heavy.
