Race 5: No.14 Alliri
The Kris Lees-trained Alliri is yet to miss a podium finish in five starts and looks well placed here to bring up the hat-trick in this event.
Last start, the All Too Hard filly made it back-to-back wins when she easily accounted for a BM64 over 1100m on the Kensington track at Randwick.
Kerrin Mc Evoy settled her outside the leader, then in the run home, took control inside the final 200m and went on to a comfortable win, putting almost two lengths on them over the line.
Mc Evoy sticks with her here and from gate six, maps to be in the first half-dozen on settling.
In outstanding form this time in, she looks a solid chance in this contest and well worth an each-way ticket.
Race 7: No.11 Step Aside
Chris Waller saddles-up Step Aside here who is second-up and will be out to make amends from his first-up fall.
Last start, the Redwood gelding resumed off an 18-week spell and was checked mid-race, dislodging the rider (Tommy Berry), ending his race in the process.
On a seven-day back-up, he lines up here leaving the machine from gate seven with James McDonald returning for the ride where the blinkers come off for the first time.
He is already a track and distance winner and has finished runner-up three times from four previous second-up appearances.
With a little more luck this time, he can go on with it in this contest.
Race 8: No.9 Accredited
The Joe Pride-trained Accredited is in outstanding form this time in and at the weights here, looks the one they have to beat in this event.
Last start, the All Too Hard gelding made it three-straight wins when he destroyed his rivals in a Class 3 over 1400m at Randwick.
With 56kgs and Josh Parr on his back, he settled second, outside the leader, then on straightening, took control and put a gap on them, going on to win by four lengths on the line.
He takes his place in Group 3 company here but drops 3kgs in the process and has Jay Ford steering the ship.
Nicely drawn in gate five, Jay Ford is the new pilot at the weights, he can give this contest a real shake.
