Randwick racing takes place on Thursday, March 13 with an 8-race program set down for Randwick's Kensington racetrack.

Race 4: No.8 Mia Ballerina
Race 5: No.6 Yankee One
Race 6: No.6 Wallenda
Race 7: No.10 Flying Thinker

Race 4: No.8 Mia Ballerina

The Chris Waller-trained Mia Ballerina is three starts into this campaign and looks cherry ripe to stake a claim for victory in this event.

Last start, the Cosmic Force filly made it a hat-trick of podium finishes when she took home third prize in a 1000m Maiden Plate at Kembla Grange.

Zac Lloyd had her one off the fence just behind the speed and despite chasing hard in the run home, had to settle for the minor prize that day.

She gets thew gun-run here from gate one with Lloyd in the saddle again and at her peak today, she looks in the mix in this contest.

Race 5: No.6 Yankee One

The Bjorn Baker-trained galloper is second-up today and looks well placed here for back-to-back success in this event.

Last start, the Snitzel mare resumed after seven months off the scene and did it in style by taking out a BM72 over 1100m at Canterbury.

Having her first start for the Baker stable, Kerrin McEvoy had the mare box-seating on settling and when she saw daylight inside the final 200m, she finished too strong for them and claimed a half-length victory on the line.

Gate five is hers today and she maps to settle better than mid-field with McEvoy steering the ship again.

She has more weight to carry today but second-up, she will strip fitter and will give this contest a real shake.

Race 6: No.6 Wallenda

Ciaron Maher saddles-up a couple here with Wallenda looking the pick of them in this event.

Last start, the Trapeze Artist gelding was second-up and showing improvement, beat all but one home in a BM78 over 1100m at Rosehill with Jason Collett aboard.

Settling last, he was still seven lengths off the pace on the turn and stormed home to miss the major prize by a whisker, beaten a head on the line that day.

He sees the Kensington track for the first time today with Collett in the saddle again and

fitter for two runs back, he now looks ready to win.

Race 7: No.10 Flying Thinker

The Peter Snowden-trained galloper has been a model of consistency producing seven podium finishes from his eight career starts and in the conditions today, looks set to continue the good work in this event.

Last start, the well-bred So You Think mare racked-up win number four when she led from barrier to box in a BM72 over 1400m at Rosehill.

Kerrin Mc Evoy was aboard for his second ride on the mare and set a moderate tempo from the front, before delivering a second wind in the run home and held them all at bay.

She draws gate six today and maps to be on the speed again with McEvoy at the helm.

Stepping up to 1550m here, the four-year-old also makes her Kensington track debut but will carry less weight for the journey.

If she gets her own way in front and dictates the race, she has the form on the board to suggest she will take running down again in this contest.
