Race 4 No.1- Foreverintime
Foreverintime looks poised to chalk up another win when she steps out in Race 4. The Moody/Coleman filly didnt get the race run to suit at Bendigo two starts ago when closing off with the fastest last 400m before heading to Flemington on ANZAC Day and placing 3rd behind Esternay. She was held up a number of times before closing off strongly. The daughter of Written Tycoon should be suited by the speed in this race and the large claim for Luke Cartwright brings her right into it. The apprentice hoop strikes at 20% for the stable, providing a 28.5% profit on turnover.
Race 6 No.16- Lady Sadler
Going with one at a nice price in Race 6 in the form of Lady Sadler. The Andrew Noblet-trained galloper closed off well when resuming at Sandown over the 1400m on April 9 then was supported in the betting at Flemington but was a bit dour when 7th. She might be looking for the 1600m and at this stage of her last preparation she was a big improver on benchmark figures when going from the 1400m to the 1600m, finishing just over three-lenghts off them at Group 2 level on Cox Plate Day. She draws ideally for this in barrier 3 and gets in on the minimum weight.
Race 8 No.15- Elouyou
Elouyou can measure up to them in Race 8. The five-year-old has dominated his rivals at Moonee Valley at his past two starts and rises to BenchMark 100 after a soft kill last time. That was the third run of his current preparation, going a healthy 9.7 lengths faster than standard benchmark. He was an improver on benchmark figures at the fourth run of his last campaign when scoring over the 1400m at Rosehill before running 3rd at the 1400m Caulfield. But he looks to be going as well as ever, while he can box seat from the inside barrier with just 53kg on his back.
