Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival Betting tips

Tasmania runs a solid summer carnival.
The Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival tends to fly under the radar when compared to the festivals the other capital cities offer but it is still a quality program of racing.

Tasmania’s climate is a lot more forgiving than that of the mainland, which allows for top quality racing in the summer months.

Kicking off in the beginning of the New Year, The Tasmanian Racing Carnival runs until the first week of March.

Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival Form Guide

Tasmanian racing isn’t the most popular jurisdiction in Australia, which makes it difficult to truly read the form coming into their showpiece events of the year.

The best way to assess how a runner will go is to see the recent form and the handicaps coming into the events.

Much like any other country meet, seeing a big name trainer taking their horse across the Bass Strait is another key performance indicator.
